Waialae-Plumbing- is seeking a Warehouse Operations & Inventory Specialist to manage shop inventory and logistics across Oahu. You will ensure field technicians have the exact parts, tools, and supplies they need to complete jobs efficiently.

The role emphasizes organized stock control, tool tracking, vendor coordination, and keeping the warehouse safe and orderly. A daytime schedule with opportunities for overtime and growth within shop management.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Experience with inventory software, tablets, or barcode scanners.
• Reliable, punctual, highly organized, and proactive in problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and stock management: receive, inspect, log, and organize incoming inventory; maintain stock counts.
• Stage parts and equipment for daily jobs to speed up field technician load-out.
• Coordinate vendor shipments; verify packing slips and manage returns.
• Maintain shop, yard, and tool areas following safety standards.
• Track tools and equipment and flag items for repair or replacement.

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Specialist

About the Role

We are a premier, fast-growing trade services company seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Operations & Inventory Specialist to manage our shop inventory and logistics. You will be the backbone of our daily operations—ensuring our field technicians have the exact parts, tools, and supplies they need to execute jobs efficiently across Oahu.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory & Stock Management: Receive, inspect, log, and organize incoming trade inventory, parts, and hardware. Maintain accurate stock counts in our software system.
• Technician & Fleet Support: Stage parts, materials, and specialized equipment for scheduled daily jobs so field technicians can load up and head out without delays.
• Vendor & Logistics Coordination: Check in vendor shipments, verify packing slips against purchase orders, and manage returns or core exchanges.
• Shop & Yard Maintenance: Keep the main warehouse, tool staging areas, and yard organized, clean, and fully compliant with safety standards.
• Tool & Equipment Tracking: Inspect returned equipment, manage tool sign-outs, and ensure broken gear is flagged for repair or replacement.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience (trade, plumbing, HVAC, or construction supply background is a major plus).
• Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (light delivery/pickup runs may be required).
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Software/Tech Skills: Comfortable using inventory management tools, tablet apps, or barcode scanners.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, highly organized, and proactive at solving problems before they impact the field team.
