The position emphasizes leadership, strategic layout planning, and process improvements to drive throughput and accuracy in a growing distribution environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse management experience, preferably in a distribution/logistics/warehouse environment
• Experience in warehousing, inventory, and logistics management
• Excellent multi-tasking, communication, and organizational skills
• Fluent with desktop computers and Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Manages the building and all warehouse staff (Managers, Supervisors, Employees, Drivers).
• Oversees daily operations of all warehouse duties.
• Sets expectations, motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork to meet productivity targets.
• Recruits/hires new employees as needed.
• Works with other units, vendors, staff groups and customers.
• Designs warehouse layout for product flow and handling.
• Develops and audits work procedures and policies.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment.
• Develops warehouse improvements to increase throughput and accuracy.
• Coordinates with buyers and sales on product movement.
