Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, inventory control, stocking, and merchandising at multiple SSC locations. The role requires operating forklifts and other equipment, assisting customers with orders, and maintaining showroom and warehouse areas in a safe, organized manner.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, be able to pass a background check, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record.
• Experience operating forklift or similar warehouse equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify merchandise and inventory.
• Stock shelves and replenish showroom displays.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist customers with locating products, filling orders, and loading merchandise.
• Ensure loading procedures are accurate and loads are secure.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in warehouse and showroom areas.
