Job summary

Southern States Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support retail operations, inventory handling, and customer service across SSC locations. You will receive merchandise, stock shelves, and assist with loading merchandise into vehicles while maintaining showroom appearance.

Highlights include forklift operation, accurate receiving, and adherence to safety and loss-prevention procedures. A High School Diploma or GED is required; prior warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: warehouse experience with inventory and forklift operation.
• Customer-focused communication skills and familiarity with warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with store leadership to receive daily assignments and information on inventory and operations.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer support; assist customers with filling orders, lifting and loading merchandise.
• Receive deliveries and unload using forklift and other equipment; count, verify, and inspect items for damages.
• Move merchandise in the warehouse, perform pallet put-away, and stock shelves; ensure proper storage.
• Perform showroom replenishment and assist with merchandising displays per plan-o-grams.
