Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Maple Grove, MN. You will work in a clean, safe facility with a 6:00am-2:30pm Saturday through Wednesday schedule and earn hourly pay of $19.25.

You'll handle homegoods, boxes, clothing items using a manual pallet jack, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO from month 1, and weekly pay, plus employee discounts and safety gear provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in freight coordination / scheduling / planning.
• Excellent time management and highly organized.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Positive attitude that sets an example for others.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Welcome Center attendant log of arrivals and departures of commercial and private vehicles.
• Check all inbound and outbound seals on vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with management on any welcome center issues.
• Interact with drivers and visitors in a polite professional manner.
• Follow all SOPs regarding the checking in and out of freight.
• Monitor CCTV equipment and advise management of incidents.
• May be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified.
• Other duties as assigned.
