Job summary

Wellness Pet Company is hiring a Material Handler I in Minnesota for a 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) with overtime and weekend requirements as needed. The role involves safe pallet loading/unloading, inventory management, receiving and shipping tasks, and operation of scanners and ERP systems.

Experience with PITs and scanners is preferred. High school education or equivalent is required, with training provided for forklift operation.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
• Must lift up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to operate a sit-down electric forklift after training.

Responsibilities

• Shipping: wrap outgoing pallets, label pallets, complete shipment requests, load trucks safely, use ERP systems and scanners.
• Receiving: unload trucks, inspect inbound materials, label and document, verify counts and damages.
• Inventory: perform counts, move inventory for production, label finished goods and stock locations.
• Misc.: assist in wrapping/tagging pallets, operate forklifts after training, support production and warehouse processes.
• Safety & quality: follow safety policies, complete documentation, and participate in training.
