Visual Comfort & Co. is headquartered in Houston, TX, and seeks a Warehouse Operations Associate to manage high‑volume shipments and accurate documentation for domestic and international orders.

You will coordinate with carriers, prepare bills of lading, and collaborate with customer service to ensure on‑time order fulfillment while maintaining safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Make informed shipping method decisions for internal teams and customers.

• Coordinate and schedule outgoing shipments via carriers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Process 2,000+ shipments daily with accuracy and efficiency.
• Safely secure shipments to pallets and ensure safe handling.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
• Maintain clear communication with warehouse teams.

Efficient and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Associate is experienced in managing high-volume shipments and preparing accurate domestic and international documentation. Skilled in selecting optimal shipping methods, coordinating with carriers, and collaborating with teams to ensure timely, safe, and accurate order fulfillment. How success is defined:

• Make informed shipping method decisions to best serve company and customer interests
• Prepare and manage all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, labels, and export forms (International Commercial Documents & EEI files)
• Coordinate and schedule outgoing shipments via UPS, FedEx, LTL, and other carriers using online systems
• Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Process high-volume shipping orders (2,000+ packages daily) with accuracy and efficiency
• Safely secure and strap shipments to pallets as required
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals
• Maintain clear communication with Customer Service and warehouse teams
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What you will bring:

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Demonstrates ability to maintain high productivity while prioritizing safety
• Strong attention to detail
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with WMS and TMS systems
• Solid math, reading, and communication skills
• Customer service experience preferred

Compensation Range: $20.85

Compensation is based on individual factors, including skill set, relevant experience, and work location
