Job summary

Waukesha Pearce Industries, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Person I to load and unload materials, prepare shipments, and support daily warehouse operations in California. You will follow work orders, assist with packing, and maintain accurate inventory records.

The role involves staging shipments, processing express orders, and supporting other departments as needed to ensure timely delivery and proper handling of goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Fill parts orders for branches, customers and service department.
• Box, pack or crate parts as necessary for shipment and prepare shipping documents.
• Stage outgoing shipments in designated areas, notify carriers and load trucks.
• Fill, pack and ship annual return orders.
• Process a large volume of express packages daily including COD and credit card orders using a computerized UPS AND Fed-Ex system.
• Unload trucks, check condition of freight and verify piece count per freight bill.
• Unpack and check in shipments per packing list and dispense per purchase order.
• Stock parts in designated areas and maintain a correct stocking sequence.
• Arrange parts storage areas to maximize storage space.
• Locate parts to ensure efficient handling and filling accuracy.
• Resolve minor problems with part numbers and quantities received or shipped.
• Record daily volume of work completed and actual time applied to activity.
• Clean assigned work area daily.
• Assist in any department needed.
• Help train new personnel in the department's duties and procedures.
