Job summary

Target Specialty Products in Des Plaines, IL seeks a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in the distribution center. You will assist with loading/unloading trucks, conduct inventory checks, pick and pack orders, and help with local deliveries.

The role requires at least two years in warehousing or customer service, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. We offer benefits from day one and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence.
• At least two years of warehouse or customer service experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing shipments.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklift and overhead crane).
• Count, compare, check and inspect quantities of materials and products for distribution to customers.
• Pick, pack, wrap, load and possibly assist with delivering orders for our customers.
• Take inventory; document and invoice orders and product movement.
• Submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports, as required.
