Job description

The Shipping Associate will handle routine warehouse and shipping tasks, including picking materials from inventory, packing customer orders, processing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the warehouse organized. The role also involves shipping documentation, cycle counting, and materials handling.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Pick, sort, verify, and pack customer orders for shipment.
• Process outbound shipments using automated or manual shipping systems.
• Pack temperature-sensitive orders using dry ice when required.
• Replenish shipping supplies and maintain an organized warehouse.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents and records.
• Receive, inspect, and verify materials against packing slips.
• Pick up and deliver materials and components as assigned.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Report damaged, mixed, or incorrect materials to the supervisor.
• Apply product labels and deliver materials to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and shipping area.
• Follow company safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures.
• Operate a forklift or company vehicle when required and authorized.
• Communicate work progress and report issues to the team lead or supervisor.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or materials distribution.
• Equivalent combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered.
