Job summary

Americold is seeking a Training Supervisor to elevate associate skills through onboarding and ongoing training across warehouse operations. You will assess developmental needs, run classroom safety and SOP training, and monitor training effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or warehouse experience, or successful completion of Americold's internship program, or a bachelor's degree.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Maintain forklift certification.
• Proven ability to develop and implement training initiatives and conduct onboarding and safety training.
• Experience in the food industry, warehousing, or transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding and training sessions related to operations policies, safety, and SOPs.
• Keep supervisors informed of development and address issues during training.
• Conduct monthly training sessions per operations training matrix and propose new programs.
• Monitor training budgets and implement continuous improvements in SOP and facility courses.
• Maintain communications and follow-up studies to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Oversee safety, quality, and productivity; assist with inventory issues, incident reports, audits.
• Cover shifts, including weekends and nights, to ensure onboarding and training of associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
