Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to read maps.
• Ability to lift 35–45 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
• Experience operating forklift, order picker and basic hand tools.
• Good attendance and reliability required.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and strong customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers glass to customers promptly.
• Works 80% in warehouse duties and 20% driving.
• Develops and maintains good customer relations on delivery.
• Receives glass shipments and unpacks incoming trucks.
• Locates parts in warehouse and loads for delivery.
• Inspects glass and ensures accurate loading on trucks.
• Stocks warehouse and maintains inventory accuracy.
• Receives orders from warehouse office.

80% Driving - 20% Warehouse

Essential Functions:

• Delivers glass to customers promptly.
• Work in warehouse performing warehouse duties 80% of the time.
• Develops and maintains good customer relations on delivery at all times.
• Develops and maintains positive local work environment
• Receives glass shipments and unpacks incoming trucks at warehouse.
• Works closely with the lead person to achieve a high level of complete customer service.
• Locates required parts in warehouse and removes from stock.
• Visually inspects glass and loads parts accurately on the truck for delivery from warehouse.
• Stocks the warehouse, putting parts in their assigned racks.
• Checks inventory to maintain its accuracy for delivery
• Receives orders from warehouse office

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) – Preferred but NOT required
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and an ability to read maps
• Ability to lift 35-45 pounds on a frequent basis and on occasion up to 70 pounds
• Ability to operate a forklift, order picker, and basic hand tools
• Good attendance will be required
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
• Good customer relations skills – Client interaction required
• Ability to work in temperatures similar to the outdoors within the area of the assigned Service Center

Core Hours: Monday - Friday, 4:30pm - 1am, or until route is completed

Pay: $22.50 per hour, plus shift premium
