Job summary

Pilkington North America, part of the NSG Group, is hiring for a role that blends warehouse duties with driving responsibilities. The position will be 60% warehouse and 40% driving, delivering glass to customers and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Core hours are Monday–Friday with a 5am start window; pay is $22.05 per hour, and the benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays and vacations, life insurance, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to read maps and navigate routes.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to lift 35-45 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds.
• Experience operating a forklift, order picker, and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Delivers glass to customers promptly.
• Develops and maintains good customer relations on delivery at all times.
• Receives glass shipments and unloads incoming trucks at warehouse.
• Locates required parts in warehouse and places them in stock.
• Works with lead person to achieve high level of customer service.

Essential Functions:

• Delivers glass to customers promptly.
• Develops and maintains good customer relations on delivery at all times.
• Develops and maintains positive local work environment
• Receives glass shipments and unpacks incoming trucks at warehouse.
• Works closely with the lead person to achieve a high level of complete customer service.
• Locates required parts in warehouse and removes from stock.
• Visually inspects glass and loads parts accurately on the truck for delivery from warehouse.
• Stocks the warehouse, putting parts in their assigned racks.
• Checks inventory to maintain its accuracy for delivery
• Receives orders from warehouse office

Qualifications Required:

• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and an ability to read maps
• Ability to lift 35-45 pounds on a frequent basis and on occasion up to 70 pounds
• Ability to operate a forklift, order picker, and basic hand tools
• Good attendance will be required
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
• Good customer relations skills – Client interaction required
• Ability to work in temperatures similar to the outdoors within the area of the assigned Service Center

Qualifications Desired:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) – preferred by not required
• Personal Computer skills including computerized inventory system
• Previous delivery driving, material handling, and glass experience
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred but not required (2-years minimum)

Core Hours: Monday-Friday must be flexible 5am-530pm - the route will be an 8-hour shift during that timeframe.

Pay - $22.05 per hour
