Job summary

Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal invites applicants to join our maintenance team. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of site equipment, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and keeping accurate service records.

Based in West Virginia, you will travel occasionally for field repairs, operate a forklift, and help maintain a safe warehouse environment while collaborating with site managers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors and other employees on construction sites to understand equipment needs and resolve problems quickly.
• Perform field repairs with occasional travel.
• Keep records of maintenance and repair operations, service history and parts usage.
• Conduct inventory controls.
• Keep the warehouse area clean and promote a safe working environment.
• Operate a forklift.
• Maintain grounds surrounding the warehouse.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate warehouse vehicles.
