Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support production at the Elwood, KS facility. You will manage material handling, shipping/receiving, and inventory using SAP, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to GMP standards. This role emphasizes safety, FEFO rotation, and collaboration with production teams.

Responsibilities include receiving raw materials, labeling, coordinating shipments, and maintaining inventory levels. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer proficiency including Windows and MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of safe working practices and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to perform calculations involving weights, volumes, and percentages.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, handle, and distribute materials safely and efficiently.
• Record receiving information in SAP and manage FEFO material rotation.
• Support inbound/outbound shipping, ensuring accuracy of purchase orders and timelines.
• Coordinate shipments with carrier representatives and resolve issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper material storage.
• Identify and report safety hazards and participate in investigations.
