Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years in warehouse operations, materials management, or procurement in refinery/heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse supervisors and staff; set performance expectations and manage overall team performance.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and training for warehouse staff to build a skilled, safety-focused team.
• Interface with plant leadership (Maintenance, Planning, Operations) to align warehouse priorities with plant needs.
• Own warehouse materials management: receiving, storage, disbursement, inventory reporting, value reporting.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute material and equipment logistics for plant turnarounds and outages.
• Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships; negotiate terms for cost, quality, and service.
• Manage warehouse operating budget and ensure SOX compliance; oversee outbound logistics and expediting.
• Enforce safety protocols and be available 24/7 for plant emergencies.
