Job summary

Otis is seeking a Distribution Center Material Handler in Florence, SC to manage receiving, storage, and shipping of materials. The role emphasizes accurate inventory, PIV operation, and adherence to CT-PAT and safety standards.

You will support inbound, outbound, and cycle-count processes in a dynamic warehouse environment. The position requires standing, lifting, and operating forklifts; the shift is 1st with long hours and weekend potential.

Qualifications

• Experience with material handling in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance, CT-PAT awareness.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound materials and verify against BOLs and schedules.
• Store and label materials, keep designated locations organized.
• Prepare and ship materials meeting CT-PAT standards and weight limits.
• Stage materials by pick lists with high accuracy.
• Perform daily cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Consolidate supplier materials into crates per procedures.
• Maintain 5S in assigned areas and follow PPE guidelines.
