Job summary

Border States is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Florence, SC. This role supports operations by managing inventory, receiving, checking, and shipping materials while adhering to safety standards. Successful candidates will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include checking incoming material for damages, distributing stock, and maintaining shipping equipment. A background in warehouse distribution and forklift operation is preferred, along with strong organizational and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred.
• PC working knowledge for Windows, internet, email, and SAP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming freight and check the material for damages or shortages.
• Distribute material to the proper stock locations.
• Fill special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Check and pack material to be delivered.
• Maintain shipping equipment and keep the work area clean and safe.
