Job summary

ServiceMaster Elite Janitorial Services is hiring a Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution center. You will safely load, unload, move, and organize materials, operate forklifts as needed, and maintain OSHA-compliant conditions.

The role requires reliability, safety focus, and attention to detail, with opportunities to assist inventory management and collaborate with team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience operating material-handling equipment and forklifts is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety standards.
• Ability to read and write and follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load/unload from trucks and containers.
• Build, stack, and organize pallets for storage and transport.
• Move pallets and goods throughout the facility.
• Load/unload/stack pallets manually or with equipment.
• Inspect pallets for damage and perform repairs or disposal as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area per OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and general warehouse tasks.
