Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Houston to support metals processing and distribution. You will pull, fill, cut orders, and handle inventory and shipping tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires basic equipment operation, reading work orders, and maintaining safe, organized facilities. This position offers opportunities to work with cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years warehousing experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Ability to obtain certification to operate motorized material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment, pull material from racks, unload incoming material, load trucks and customer vehicles, and maintain the warehouse.
• Receive and return items into stock locations.
• Read and decipher work orders; verify heat numbers and material specifications.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, side loaders, yard trucks, saws, and other heavy equipment as required.
• Place materials into storage or remove them for order fulfillment.
