Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Ranson, WV is seeking a Material Tagger responsible for warehouse cleanliness and proper arrangement of inventory.

You will load, unload, and move products by hand and with carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment following safety guidelines. You will count quantities, verify against documents, label items, ensure proper packaging, locate and pick materials from print lists, and document inbound/outbound conditions with a camera.

Qualifications

• Entry level, no experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Must have knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving.
• Ability to clearly identify product from package labels.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and record quantities for inventory transactions.
• Identify materials moved and match to documentation.
• Ensure proper labelling and up-to-date product numbers.
• Ensure bulk packed materials are boxed, taped, wrapped or banded for safe transport.
• Locate, label and pick required materials from printed pick lists.
• Pick and pull daily orders without forklift.
• Document inbound/outbound load conditions and quality issues with a camera.
• Use basic hand tools for opening/closing crates and basic assembly tasks.
