Job summary

Rugby Architectural Building Products in Winston-Salem is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team. You will handle receiving, unloading, and storing material, and you will pick and load product for customer orders. The role requires operating a forklift and complying with safety standards, with a 7 a.m.

Qualifications

• Offload trucks and load trucks with materials for delivery.
• Operate a forklift; certification is a plus.
• Follow safety procedures and policies at all times.
• Lift heavy products repeatedly (up to 50-100 pounds with a helper).
• Maintain organization and self-motivation in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Offload trucks with materials from our vendor, and load trucks with product to ship to our customers.
• Operate a forklift; forklift operator experience and certification is a plus!
• Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches customer orders.
• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Lift extremely heavy, awkward products (up to 50-100 pounds with a helper) repeatedly to store and load onto a truck.
• Interpersonal teamwork and a strong work ethic in a competitive meritocracy.

Warehouse Material Handler - Winston-Salem

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets. (In New Century, KS, Lebanon, TN, and Rockford, IL – we do business as: Olathe Millwork, Warren Brothers, River City Millwork respectfully.)

Position: We are growing and seeking a Warehouse Associate! The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, to include receiving, unloading, and storing material, as well as picking and loading product for our customer orders.

Your Day-to-Day: to crush it in our warehouse, you'll need to:
