Job summary

Ryder is seeking Warehouse Material Handlers in Owensboro, KY to support a clean, organized, and efficient distribution center. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable performance across loading, picking, packing, and shipping duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle daily warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Support maintenance of automated packing systems during core shifts.
