Job summary

Amcor LLC in Louisville, KY is seeking a Material Handler to support the Warehouse Manager and Shipping Coordinator. The role involves shipping/receiving, moving finished goods to trailers, inspecting shipments, and staging in the warehouse.

Responsibilities include order pulling, verifying paperwork, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to GMP and food safety guidelines. Ability to lift 30 lbs, stand long hours, and operate RF scanners is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds overhead.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to 11 hours per day.
• Experience with RF barcode scanning systems and forklift operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders to ship using the dcLINK system and meet special customer requirements.
• Load and unload trucks and inspect trailers.
• Move finished goods from production to trailer and stage for shipment.
• Inspect incoming materials and ensure paperwork is complete for receiving.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning and relocating stock as needed.
• Protect warehouse contents and report any damage or loss to supervisor.
• Support GMP and food safety practices in all activities.
