Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Louisville, KY is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping/receiving by moving finished goods, loading trailers, and staging inventory in the warehouse. You will work under the Warehouse Manager and Shipping Coordinator in a team environment.

Responsibilities include order pulling with dcLINK, trailer loading/unloading, material handling, and ensuring inventory accuracy while maintaining GMP and safety standards. Flexible hours and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Ability to order items and actions according to rules or patterns.
• Clear near vision for detail work.
• Flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach.
• Fast finger and hand movements for repetitive tasks.
• Coordination of multiple limbs while performing duties.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds over head to six feet.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods (11 hours).
• Experience with warehouse material handling and RF scanner use preferred.
• Forklift experience with certification or ability to become certified (1–3 years).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders to ship using the dcLINK system and satisfy any special customer requirements.
• Load and unload trucks and inspect trailers before and after loading.
• Move finished goods from production to trailer for shipment and stage in warehouse.
• Inspect inbound/outbound product and paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning and moving goods in dcLINK.
• Verify that all order components are present before shipment.
• Report any damage or loss and protect warehouse contents.
• Support GMP and food safety program compliance.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
