Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in the St. Louis area to support EMJ operations. The role involves pulling, filling, and cutting orders, maintaining inventory, and assisting with shipping tasks.

Basic equipment operation and understanding of materials distribution are required. The position supports a non-exempt, shift-based environment. The successful candidate will verify material, read job orders, operate equipment, and help maintain safety and order in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Experience in warehousing or material handling is preferred.
• Ability to obtain certification to operate motorized material handling and rigging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory and materials to fulfill customer orders.
• Read and verify work orders; verify material specs.
• Operate heavy equipment as required (cranes, forklifts, side loaders).
• Receive, store, and restock inventory.
• Ensure safe and organized warehouse environment.
