Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with driving record within company established parameters.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
• 0-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, issues material and supplies to project sites.
• Loads and unloads supplies, materials and equipment; keep warehouse orderly and safe.
• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within plant, yard, or work site.
• Reads work orders or follows instructions to identify materials to move.
• Opens containers using hand tools.
• Loads materials onto pallets and secures for transport.
• Conveys materials to designated areas using hand trucks, electric dollies or forklifts.
• Attaches tags or labels and records information on cases or containers.
• Stacks or bundles materials using banding machines and clamps.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with hoists; cleans work areas and equipment.
• Assembles crates for shipment using hand tools and pre-cut lumber.
• Shovels loose materials into wheelbarrows, trucks or barrels.
• Occasionally operates forklift, truck, or electric hoist as needed.
• Follows all safety and project rules; performs other duties as required.
