Warehouse Material Handler I - 2nd Shift

Join the Hillman Team as a 2nd Shift Material Handler I!

Base Pay: $15.75 / hr

Shift Differential: $1.50/hr for hours worked on 2nd shift.

Anticipated Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday from 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Job Summary

Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.

Essential Job Functions *

• Use a hand scanner to identify and track materials.
• Pick up incoming materials from the Receiving dock.
• Unload and store stock in the Bulk storage area.
• Provide replenishment materials to workstations promptly.
• Pull and stock correct products to appropriate boxes and pick locations.
• Transfer finished products to designated areas.
• Stack empty skids and pallets in designated areas.
• Operate manual and/or motorized pallet jacks.
• Use knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; report other issues to management.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate manual/motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers.
• Must be certified in forklift operation.
• Ability to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to operate a hand-held RF Scanner.
• Ability to stand on concrete floors for up to 8 hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
