Warehouse Material Handler Hybrid Driver

Join to apply for the Warehouse Material Handler Hybrid Driver role at U.S. Venture, Inc.

Position Summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., has over 100 years of experience in distributing tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

Schedule

The position is scheduled for M-F, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, or until all deliveries are completed. Schedules may change based on business needs, including overtime.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts using industrial vehicles such as forklifts or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners for inventory management and control.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently, up to 80 pounds occasionally, with team lifts or mechanical assistance for heavier items.
  • Push up to 40 pounds when handling barrels or tires.
  • Work safely at heights up to 25 feet on stock racks.
  • Remain on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
  • Follow safety policies and contribute to a safety culture.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
Driving Responsibilities
  • Operate box trucks under 26,001 pounds and make 10-20 deliveries daily.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records.
  • Deliver products punctually and safely in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Use provided handheld devices to fulfill deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Collect payments upon delivery.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be physically capable of lifting up to 80 pounds, exerting pushing forces, and working safely with equipment. Protective gear is provided, and safety guidelines must be followed. Work may involve exposure to weather and moderate noise levels.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21 or older.
  • At least 1 year of professional driving and warehouse/logistics experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Ability to operate industrial trucks safely and pass certification.
  • Physically able to lift and push specified weights.
  • Customer service skills and ability to work overtime.
  • Pass pre-employment drug test and obtain DOT Medical Card if applicable.
