Warehouse Material Handler Hybrid Driver

Position Summary

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., has over 100 years of experience in distributing tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotating Saturdays. Schedules may change based on business needs and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts using industrial vehicles like forklifts or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners for inventory control and assist with inventory management.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, with team lifts or mechanical aids for heavy tires.
  • Push up to 40 pounds when handling barrels or agricultural tires.
  • Work safely at heights up to 25 feet on stock racks.
  • Remain on your feet for extended periods and work overtime as needed.
  • Maintain safety standards and contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
Driving Responsibilities
  • Operate box trucks under 26,001 pounds and make 10-20 deliveries daily.
  • Keep accurate logs and records, including driver logs and fuel records.
  • Deliver products punctually and safely in all weather conditions.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Use provided handheld devices to fulfill deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Collect payments upon delivery.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally, exert pushing force up to 40 pounds, and operate equipment safely. Protective gear provided, and safety adherence is mandatory. Work may involve exposure to weather, noise, fumes, and require safety equipment like steel-toe boots, vests, and harnesses.

Qualifications
  • Must be 21 or older
  • At least 1 year of professional driving experience and passing a company road test
  • Warehouse or logistics experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and obtain certification
  • Ability to lift and push specified weights safely
  • Customer service skills and ability to work overtime
  • Pass pre-employment drug test (excluding THC)
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one
