Warehouse Material Handler Hybrid Driver

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm, rotating Saturdays. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs, and may require overtime.

Job Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as forklifts or picker equipment.
• Use scanners to locate and organize inventory, assist with inventory control.
• Lift 50 pounds consistently and up to 80 pounds occasionally. Use team lifts or mechanical equipment for heavy tires.
• Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels or industrial tires.
• Work safely at heights up to 25 feet on stock racks while operating equipment.
• Work on your feet for extended periods and be willing to work overtime.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Driving Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles, making 10-20 deliveries per day.
• Maintain accurate records, including driver logs and fuel records.
• Make timely deliveries in all weather conditions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Operate a handheld device to fulfill deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Collect payments upon delivery.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds, exert pushing force, and work safely with protective gear. Exposure to weather, moderate noise, and tire-related fumes is possible.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• One year of professional driving experience and successful completion of a company road test.
• Warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to operate forklifts and high reach lifts safely.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and provide quality customer service.
• Ability to work overtime and pass a drug test.
• Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
