Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in the United States to support operations by moving material and inventory, using hand trucks and conveyors, and performing packing, scanning and counting tasks.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, flexibility for overtime, and a positive team-focused attitude in a warehouse setting. Full health benefits and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Flexibility to work a schedule including possible overtime
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Move material and inventory throughout the facility.
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
• Pack, scan, kit or count products as needed.
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
• Adhere to the 7S program.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times.
• Work safely to protect yourself and teammates.
