Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Plainfield, IN is hiring for Warehouse positions in our distribution center. We offer full-time opportunities with two shifts: 1st shift 6am–4:45pm and 2nd shift 4:45pm–3:30am with a $1.00/hr shift differential.

Open roles include Material Handler at $19.25/hr and Processing Associate at $18.00/hr plus shift differential. Responsibilities cover unloading, loading, staging, and accurate documentation while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

Must be able to operate equipment and participate in training for position.
Must be willing to be trained to operate RF scanning equipment.
Background check and drug screen required.
Able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull & lift 10–50 pounds repetitively.
Basic English reading comprehension and numerical reasoning skills.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Unloading, loading, staging & warehousing of cartons following safe and secure procedures.
Safely operates manual and mechanical equipment as needed.
Completes documentation neatly and reports errors to the supervisor.
Verifies purchase orders, location numbers, case pack quantities and other information prior to receiving/loading.
Determines pallet placement based on box size and product.
Maintains safe material handling methods and proper merchandising distribution.
Performs spot checks of the system to ensure proper merchandise sorting.
