Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Material Handler in Raleigh, NC to join a safety-first supply chain environment with state-of-the-art equipment. The role includes loading, unloading, packing, shipping, and cycle counting, with on-demand training and a strong emphasis on accurate paperwork and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Able to work in a diverse work environment.
• Must be punctual and have good attendance.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
