Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a warehouse associate to load, move and organize materials with hand or powered equipment at our Oklahoma site. You will read route sheets, verify materials, and position items for processing.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and 1–3 months of related experience or training. Clean, safe work habits and the ability to operate a forklift are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Loads and moves materials with hand or powered equipment.
• Reads route sheets or follows verbal instructions to identify materials to move.
• Positions materials and containers as required.
• Removes scrap and moves to designated areas.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks or shelves.
• Operates fork truck and coordinates with shift warehouse personnel.
• Reports job operations on daily labor ticket.
• Keeps area clean and organized; removes trash; etc.
