Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics is seeking a Material Handler for our Woodstock, AL facility. The role supports warehouse and production operations by moving, handling, and packaging materials to ensure timely, accurate delivery to customers while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will stage, document, and move materials throughout the site, operate or assist with carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts, perform visual quality checks, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to distinguish between colors for quality and material identification.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, freight, or products to and from storage, production areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles.
• Load and unload materials manually or using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Record quantities handled using production sheets, work tickets, or system tools.
• Maintain the cleanliness of work areas, containers, and equipment using appropriate tools and cleaning solutions.
• Perform general physical tasks, including lifting, walking, bending, climbing, and handling materials throughout the shift.
