Job summary

Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to accurately fill orders and maintain inventory. The role runs Monday-Thursday, starting at 5pm, with a 4-day work week and a focus on safe handling of product and equipment.

You will issue, receive, pick and transfer products, check quality before shipping, and perform other warehouse tasks as needed. Eligible benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401k, parental leave, PTO, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening: background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Issue, receive, pick and transfer product to maintain accurate inventory.
• Maintain set work standards for picking orders.
• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.
• Load and unload product efficiently and safely.
• Review orders for shipment to ensure accuracy.
• Check product and packaging for quality prior to shipping.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
