Job summary

BW Packaging, part of the Barry-Wehmill er family, is seeking a Material Handler to manage receiving, shipping, and staging for manufacturing and fulfillment. The role emphasizes inventory integrity, ERP proficiency, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in warehouse roles, forklift certification, and strong attention to detail to maintain orderly inventory and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain clean driving record, if required to drive Company vehicles.
• Basic computer and ERP system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Receive packages from carriers and internal fabrication team; inspect materials and verify part numbers and quantities.
• Process receipts in ERP and update inventory records; run reports and finalize locations.
• Transport items within facilities and to vendors or outside services as needed.
• Pack and ship materials, prepare shipping documentation, and coordinate with customer service.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and adhere to safety guidelines.
