Job summary

Standard Electric Supply Co. is seeking a Material Handler and Delivery Driver to join the Eau Claire team. The role combines warehouse duties with customer deliveries, ensuring accurate orders, organized inventory, and safe, on-time deliveries.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a pay range of $23.00 to $23.50 per hour. CDL is not required, and documentation such as the DOT Medical Certification may be arranged by the employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications for the role are a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid drivers license (CDL not required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• DOT Medical Certification Card or ability to obtain one upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stage, pick, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles and warehouse materials.
• Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and organized.
• Maintain inventory within the warehouse and at customer locations.
• Safely deliver products to customers on scheduled delivery days.
• Communicate with customers and team members to provide a smooth, positive experience.
• Follow all company policies and applicable safety requirements.

About the Role

Join our Eau Claire team as a Material Handler & Delivery Driver, combining warehouse operations with customer deliveries. You’ll keep the warehouse organized and efficient and ensure products reach customers safely and accurately. Warehouse duties include receiving and staging shipments, picking and preparing customer orders, organizing inventory, and tracking materials with handheld barcode scanners. On delivery days, you’ll drive a box truck to customer locations and provide exceptional customer service.

This pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.50 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate at the time of the job posting. Actual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and the physical work location within the state.

• Previous warehouse, delivery driving, or customer service experience
• Forklift or other warehouse equipment experience
• Experience operating a box truck
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices
