Job summary

Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler with Delivery Driver duties in the Missouri region. You will ensure products reach customers by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting and general warehouse maintenance.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates are at least 21, capable of operating RF scanners and forklifts, and can lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacket.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
• Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship orders using an RF scanner. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Receive and store inventory in a safe and correct manner.
• Perform cycle counts regularly.
• Record damaged or defective materials.
• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Provides associateswith possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise, reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check-in deliveries, pickups and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.
