Job summary

Ryder is hiring a temporary-to-hire Material Handler in Apopka, FL – offering weekly pay and a career you can feel good about. You will perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting on the third shift.

• One year or more of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator’s license and certification.

• High degree of initiative and reliability.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, and related documents.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Hourly pay: $19.95 per hour
• Additional pay: $1.00 per hour when assigned to third shift
• Schedule: Third Shift Sunday–Tuesday 5:00 pm – 5:00 am, every other Wednesday 5:00 pm – 5:00 am
