Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors seeks a dependable warehouse associate to pull and load orders, stock inventory, and assist with on-site deliveries. You will operate a forklift, maintain orderly storage, and ensure accurate inventory records while following safety procedures.

Qualifications include forklift certification eligibility, ability to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance, and prior warehouse experience preferred. This is a full-time role with excellent benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by ABC Supply Interiors to operate forklift equipment.
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs with assistance.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Knowledge in all applicable building material products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Receive incoming building materials and place into inventory.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse for efficient storage and quick retrieval.
• Pull ordered material from inventory and stage for pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain all products in a quality and marketable condition.
• Keep accurate inventory records.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently and handle heavy loads.
• Estimate the weight of forklift loads for proper vehicle loading.
• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and staging.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm

ABC Supply Interiors delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.

In this role, you will pull orders for customers and load orders onto our company delivery trucks. You will perform picking and loading duties using a forklift.

Specific duties may include:

• Following all applicable safety rules and procedures
• Receiving incoming building materials and placing them into inventory
• Organizing and maintaining the warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for shipment
• Pulling ordered material from inventory and staging it for pickups and deliveries
• Maintaining all products in a quality and marketable condition
• Keeping accurate inventory records
• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently and being able to handle heavy and awkward loads
• Estimating the weight of forklift loads so that the delivery vehicles are properly loaded and are not overweight
• Physically sorting through various products in order to remove defective material
• Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned
