Job summary

Marion Body Works, Inc. in Shawano, Wisconsin is hiring a full-time material handler to accurately transfer product, load/unload trailers, and move goods using powered industrial equipment. The role includes inventory counts and supporting production lines.

Required: high school diploma or GED and 18+; 1–3 months related experience preferred. Safety training and benefits are provided by MBW.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Prefer 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect powered industrial equipment daily at shift start and ensure safety features are operational.
• Complete inspection checklists.
• Safely operate equipment and move materials throughout the facility.
• Ensure materials shipped/warehoused are not damaged.
• Pick products from locations based on pick tickets.
• Stack boxes on pallets and stage for next wave.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• May load/unload trucks and warehouse products.
• Verify counts/descriptions of received/shipped materials.
• Support production lines by delivering products as requested.
• Complete movement paperwork accurately.
• Perform regular inventory and cycle counts.
• Charge/replace forklift batteries or propane as needed.
• Dispose waste and scrap as required.
• Package materials for shipping.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Maintain attendance to meet deadlines.
