Job summary

Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Material Handler for weekend shifts (6am-2:30pm) to support store and .com fulfillment in Reno, NV. You will help ensure timely and accurate order processing, palletize and ship products, and maintain safe warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, multitask, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively with team members. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and foster a safe work environment.
• Palletize, put away and ship product accurately.

• Rotate through material handler functions including loading/unloading.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals with urgency and care.
• Assist new hires and transfer questions in a friendly manner.
• Communicate with booksellers and management.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Flexible with peak-season schedule.
