BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSellers, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Material Handler for 6:00am-10:30am shifts in Reno, NV.

You will help ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders for our Barnes & Noble stores and .com customers, rotating through material handling tasks to support a safe, efficient warehouse operation. Ideal candidates show strong multitasking ability, basic math and written/verbal communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

Can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Possess basic written and verbal communication skills.
Able to perform mathematical tasks accurately.
Prior warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Adhere to safety protocols and foster a safe work environment.
Palletize, put away and ship product timely and accurately.
Work on the warehouse floor with lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
Rotate within material handler functions including loading/unloading and packing duties.
Maintain a sense of urgency to meet daily production goals.
Assist new hires and transfers and answer questions.
Communicate with booksellers and management regarding questions or concerns.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Flexible with schedule during peak season as needed.
