Job summary

Caldwell Manufacturing in Williamsport, MD is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move materials, process pick tickets, pack orders, and prepare shipments. You will load/unload trucks, receive orders, and maintain accurate part counts.

Candidates should have shipping and inventory experience, forklift experience with OSHA certification preferred, and be able to lift 40 lbs, use a tape measure, and operate Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
  • Experience with inventory control, including cycle counts.
  • Forklift experience; OSHA certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull at least 40 lbs.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Move materials, supplies, and components to designated areas within the facility.
  • Process pick tickets, labels, and shop orders.
  • Pack orders and prepare shipments.
  • Load and unload trucks and organize/wrap skids.
  • Receive purchase and manufacturing orders and maintain accurate counts.
  • Perform cycle counts and location audits.
  • Maintain a clean workstation and follow PPE and safety rules.

Position Summary

Responsible for moving materials, supplies, components to designated areas within the facility. Printing and process of pick tickets, labels, and shop orders (SOs). Picking/packing of orders and processing for shipment. Organize and wraps skids. Load and unload trucks. Receive purchase and manufacturing orders. Maintain accurate counts of parts through processes such as cycle counts and location audits

Essential Job Functions And Accountabilities
  • Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations
  • Fulfilling pull tickets and getting parts to proper location in a timely manner
  • Operating, loading/unloading trucks
  • Ability to identify, label parts and ensure quantity of parts to be shipped
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to use counting scale
  • Ability to follow up on pull tickets
  • Ability to learn and retain general knowledge of quantification of parts along with when and where they go
  • Ability to read MOs and obtain correct product type and quantity to run
  • Inform Supervisor of any issues with operation or quality
  • Maintain a clean workstation and facility
  • Must wear proper PPE at all times and conform to all safety rules and regulations
  • Perform any other task requested by Management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must have shipping, receiving experience
  • Must have inventory experience, including cycle count
  • Previous lift truck experience with OSHA certification preferred
  • Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull minimal of 40 lbs
  • Must have basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure
  • Must have handheld power tool experience
