JOB PURPOSE:
A Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing product, putting away product and pulling orders by performing the following duties.

The Warehouse Material Handler, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, is directly responsible for providing warehouse and material handling support :

The Warehouse Material Handler will assist the production team with assembly, painting and/or other miscellaneous support tasks on a rotating basis or when additional help is requested. The Warehouse Material Handler will also assist with general building and grounds maintenance, as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus 3-5 years of warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have general computer and keyboard proficiency.
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
Certificates and Licenses: Forklift and crane certification will be trained onsite.
Equipment:
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write emails and correspondence.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Warehouse and material handling experience in the fluid power industry and/or manufacturing setting. FedEx and UPS software experience. LTL and BOL experience.
