Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Mooresville, NC. The role involves moving products, loading/unloading freight, and ensuring accurate inventory flow. Requires forklift experience, scanners, and basic computer skills.

Shift is 7am–3pm, Monday–Friday, with competitive weekly pay and benefits. Steel-toed shoes are required and safety practices are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.
• Minimum of 2 year sit down forklift experience.
• Experience with scanners and computers.
• Basic computer knowledge (must be able to log on and complete required cGMP SOP training and email).
• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

• Move product from one location to another as needed.
• Load/Unload freight in an accurate and timely manner
• Move finished pallets of product from operation to staging areas as needed.
• Ensure work area is clean and neat at all times.
• With forklift and pallet jack move heavy pallets of materials / product through tight spaces.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor

Education Requirements

• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Material Handler.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
• Steel toed shoes are required
