We are currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Material Handler to join our La Crosse team with a 8:00am start time. In this role, you will be responsible for picking orders using an RF scanning gun in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer service expectations while ensuring safety at all times. This role also acts as a backup driver to deliver products to customers in the local branch area on a regular basis.

We are currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Material Handler to join our La Crosse team with a 8:00am start time. In this role, you will be responsible for picking orders using an RF scanning gun in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer service expectations while ensuring safety at all times. This role also acts as a backup driver to deliver products to customers in the local branch area on a regular basis.

What You'll Do

• Assist walk-in customers with ordering and/or pick-up of order
• Pull orders accurately as assigned for daily deliveries using an RF scanner
• Stage orders according to truck location and verify the accuracy of pallets, etc.
• Process outgoing and inbound UPS, FedEx, and Speedee packages including packing and ensuring proper paperwork is included
• Load trucks for daily and special deliveries
• May use power equipment including, but not limited to forklift, hand tools, etc.
• Recognize damaged product at any point in the process and take appropriate action
• Operate a forklift or other warehouse machinery
• Assist customers and/or drivers in loading materials into vehicles and trucks
• Performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Experience working in a fast-paced, distribution or warehouse environment preferred, but not required
• Excellent customer service skills
• High attention to detail and strong math skills to ensure accuracy
• Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift without assistance (weight varies based on product)
• Work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis
• Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse machinery
• Ability to work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record per company policy for backup driving
• Currently obtain or willing to obtain a DOT Med Card
• Willing to work overtime as needed
