Job summary

Ryder in Hazelwood, Missouri is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler to support our facility. Immediate start, weekly pay, on-the-job training, and a competitive benefits package.

Earn $20.23 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential. This role requires a forklift license, strong communication, and the ability to work in a safe, diverse team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more warehouse/powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator's license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork related to warehouse operations (picking sheets, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems when needed.
• Adhere to performance standards per contract; perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred


• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting


• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract


• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks


• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)


• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production


• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract


• Performs other duties as assigned.
